Bolso flores



DAISY DUFFLE
Abbreviations
ch - chain sp - space
sc - single crochet BLO - Back Loop Only
hdc - half double crochet sk - skip
dc - double crochet sl st - slip stitch
FLO- Front Loop Only

Materials
Four completed Daisy squares in black & pink (get the pattern here)
10 oz Black worsted weight yarn in addition to amount needed for the four Daisy squares
5 oz Pretty n' Pink worsted weight yarn in addition to amount needed for the four Daisy squares
Size "H" crochet hook
Tapestry needle
Instructions
Front and Back Panels (make 2)
Rnd 1: Using tapestry needle and black yarn, hold two Daisy squares with right sides together. Whip stitch along one edge to join. You should now have a panel of two squares side by side. Join Black yarn to any corner. Hdc evenly along all four edges of panel working (hdc, ch 1, hdc) in the corners. Ch 2, turn.
Rnd 2: Sc in each hdc around working (1 sc, ch 1, 1 sc) in each corner ch 1 sp. Finish off Black and join Petal Pink.
Rnd 3: With Pretty n' Pink, sc in each sc around working (sc, ch 1, sc) in each corner ch 1 sp. Finish off.
Sides and Bottom (worked as one piece)
With Black, ch 25.
Row 1: (First side panel) Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 1, turn. (24 sc)
Rows 2-18: Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn
Row 19: (WRONG SIDE) (Bottom panel) Working in BLO, sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn
Rows 20-87: Working in both loops, sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn
Row 88: (Second side panel) Working in BLO, sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn
Rows 89-105: Working in both loops, sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn
Row 106: Sc in each sc across, finish off, weave in loose ends.
Handles
With Black, ch 101
Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 1, turn (100 sc)
Rows 2-5: Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn
Row 6: Sc in each sc across, finish off.
Assembly
Starting with one of the front/back panels. Match short end of front/back panel to first side panel of the side/bottom panel. Hold right sides together. With Pink, sc together. Continue to sc bottom and opposite side edges of panels together. Finish off. Repeat for other side. Bag body should now be complete and ready for the top flaps and handles to be added.
Bag Body Trim
Front Panel Trim: With Pink, join to one corner of front panel (if you're right handed start at the right-hand end; if you're left handed start at the left-hand end), ch 1, sc in same st as joining and all along the front panel edge.
Side Panel Trim: Decrease along the top of the side panel with Pink. (12 sc total on side panel)
Back Panel Trim: Sc in each stitch across
Opposite Side Panel Trim: Decrease along the top of the side panel (12 sc total on side panel)
Top Flaps
Row 1: Beginning in first stitch of front panel and working in BLO of trim row, join Black with sl st, ch 1, sc in same space as joining. Continuing to work in BLO sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn
Rows 2-12: Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn
Row 13: Sc in each sc across, finish off, weave in loose ends.
Repeat Rows 1-13 for back flap.
Attach handles to the front and back panels through FLO of trim row with a sl st.
